The WSN802G is a 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11 g radio transceiver module that enables OEMs to build low-power wireless local area networking (WLAN) and sensor monitoring solutions for the global market. It is the first RFM RF module to integrate the Gainspan GS1010 System on Chip (SoC). The WSN802G delivers an exceptionally low power profile and long battery life capabilities in a fully functional, certified radio module that is easily interfaced to existing 802.11. b/g infrastructure for a wide variety of sensor monitoring and WLAN applications.

RFM offers DPAC Technologies Airborne™ 802.11g radios, to which it adds antenna technology, integration, and applications support. Our offering for OEM use is the Airborne 802.11g wireless LAN module, which includes a radio, a base-band processor, an application processor, and software for a "drop-in" Web-enabled WiFi solution.

Since there's no need to develop the software, or to develop the RF and communications expertise in-house, OEMs can realize reduced product development costs and a quick time-to-market. Airborne modules provide instant LAN and Internet connectivity, and connect through standard serial interfaces to a wide variety of applications.

Industrial 802.11 Bridges
The HN-208 series is a versatile, low cost, multi-purpose 802.11g wireless data modem. The HN-208 has an integral 6dB patch antenna creating a “single piece” modem and is rated over the full -40°C to +85°C temperature range. The HN-208 communicates with existing 802.11g access points, and supports peer-to-peer links as well. The HN-208 is available in three separate versions offering an Ethernet connection, an RS-232 serial connection, or a single I/O connection.
